A request from Britain to extend Article 50 should have a purpose and a specific time period, according to the Vice-President of the European Parliament.

It comes as British MPs face another vote today to decide whether the UK Government should look for a delay to Brexit beyond March 29th.

It’s in the wake of the vote last night in the House of Commons, which ruled out a no-deal Brexit.
