Bestselling Author Patricia Cornwell wasn't sure if she'd ever revisit her famed character Kay Scarpetta again after seeming to have retired the character in 2016. Five years later and a whole of inspiration later, Scarpetta is back in a new novel called Autopsy. This time the adventure returns Scarpetta to Virginia where she's back at the Medical Examiners Office. But she's also close to Washington D.C where Scarpetta will be drawn into the most unlikely case of her career, aboard the International Space Station. Patricia Cornwell tells us that she was curious what it might take to investigate a murder in space and she set out in her research to find out, factually, how it could be done.
