I mean, because I actually have a strong desire to. Giving out of obligation is people pleasing, it's done so we don't lose that person, so we don't get rejected or abandoned. Giving out of obligation is people pleasing, it's done so we don't lose that person, so we don't get rejected or abandoned. Basically, it's done out of fear. Anything that is done out of fear NEEDS TO GO, or you will be feeding that fear and it will never stop coming. The best part of giving because you want to is that it will simply pour out of you, like a broken faucet! That feeling of duty is because we, females mostly, are too much in our masculine, and thus, we have lost our ability to receive, and also, we were programmed to do so! The balance finds itself once we learn to receive and not move a muscle, until we feel that desire rise because we're now full.
