Undeserving Grace

Henry pays for his lack of wordsmithing, and his sister Jenny made sure he knew about it. Man down! Does he even speak English, or does he make up his own language on the fly? While attempting to correct himself on a word he goofed on last week, he once again stumbles over yet another word. This leads to Henry starting his “great apology tour of 2023” by apologizing to his sister-in-law. We know that many times, we think we don’t deserve what we’re getting when in fact, we deserve much worse. There was a time that something happened that we truly did not deserve, and that time was the crucifixion and resurrection of our Almighty Creator. Indeed, the closer we get to God, the more this day… or weekend… punches us right in the soul. The understanding of just how little I could do to deserve this and yet… it is there.
