MEPs in Strasbourg today voted for a range of proposals aimed at governing the use of driverless vehicles.
The Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune, who sits on the European Parliament’s Transport Committee, says something will also have to be done to help retrain truck drivers who’ll lose their jobs because of the growth of autonomous technologies.
