Philip Morgan, a successful but emotionally distant scientist, becomes increasingly haunted by the mysterious death of his wife, Claire, who drowned under suspicious circumstances near their remote lake house. Though the death was ruled accidental, Philip is plagued by guilt — and something else: he’s begun hearing Claire’s voice calling to him from the water.
