25. The maturity of body worn video in policing and how to use the data it provides

In this College of Policing led session, the panel looks at body worn video as the ‘original digital forensics exhibit’ and how the mass of data it records can be analysed and used in different ways. They ask how much the world of AI can assist forces in finding a 'needle in a haystack' for criminal investigation, as well as how it can provide valuable insights into the welfare of officers to predict the need for early interventions.
