My guest today is Army veteran and artist Dillon Krueger. He has crafted a heartfelt children’s book, Why We Stand, to teach the next generation about the significance of the National Anthem.
Dillon, who served in the United States Army Infantry and was deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2011, wrote Why We Stand for his three sons—Liam, Maddox, and Asher.
Ladies and gentlemen, WHY WE STAND is beautifully written and illustrated, the story follows an American bald eagle as he takes his son on a journey across the country, teaching him the history of the Anthem, including the War of 1812 and the Battle of Baltimore. The book also features vibrant illustrations of some of America’s most iconic monuments.
In a time when the meaning of the National Anthem and the American flag is often debated, Dillon’s book offers a compelling way for parents to spark conversations about patriotism and respect with their children.
Published through Dillon’s veteran-owned company, Real Patriot Publishing, Why We Stand is printed in the USA and available for $20 at PatrioticKidsBooks.com.
I encourage everyone to explore this meaningful book and join Dillon’s mission to promote patriotism among America’s youth.
