James serves as a CBS News Security and Law Enforcement Analyst, is a retired FBI SSA, West Point graduate, former U.S. Army Officer, St. John's University Doctoral Candidate, and currently serves as the 29th Mayor of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York.
