This week we continue our spotlight on Brian K. Vaughan with the Pride of Baghdad.  Based on a true story. Vaughan's tale of freedom vs slavery surrounds a small pride of Lions as they escape from the Bagdad zoo during the second Iraq war.

Next week we go back in time to the 80’s.  It’s halloween time and something strange is afoot in the early morning hours as a band of news paper girls make their rounds. Its the first book of one of Vaughan's current series: Paper Girls.
