James was Jesus' oldest brother. Can you imagine growing up in the same house as Jesus with him being your brother? You wouldn't believe he is the Messiah either, James didn't. But yet, later, after the resurrection James started believing. The resurrection changed his mind and James became a pillar in the church of Jerusalem.
