Wheat, Weeds, and Cancel Culture

Weeds and wheat can be hard to distinguish from one another until they mature. When scandal occurs, we want to rush to judgement. Yet, Jesus says, wait until harvest, for fear of pulling up the wheat along with the weeds. Cancel culture is sometimes justifiable, but what about when the good get caught up in it? What might be some examples where our initial judgment was in error?
