A discussion with Jim Eckles, retired public affairs officer with the White Sands Missile Range, gives insight, history and knowledge of Trinity Site, the place in Southern New Mexico where the atomic bomb was first tested and detonated. He also talks about how to visit the site that Julias Robert Oppenheimer, who is often referred to as the father of the atomic bomb, advocated to have the White Sands in New Mexico used as the testing facility.
