She shares how the world attempts to fill us with endless seeking, echoing David Foster Wallace's powerful warning that "anything else you worship will eat you alive," highlighting how our "default settings" (unintentional models) must be brought to awareness by the Holy Spirit. This episode emphasizes that true faith doesn't come from a list of rules, but from continually seeking God's presence, understanding His Word, and recognizing His unwavering sufficiency, enabling us to withstand temptation and find lasting peace, joy, and comfort, for He is truly El Shaddai.

Katie Anne is a Woman of God, a Certified Life Coach, a single mother of five amazing humans, and a woman whose journey through divorce deepened her faith and reshaped her future in ways she never expected. Growing up in the LDS (Mormon) religion, she always believed she had the "truth" of the gospel. All of that was radically challenged after she was encouraged to read the Bible and defend the truths she was taught to believe in. After embracing the teachings of Jesus from the Bible, her faith journey has profoundly changed her life and the facts she has come to recognize. This podcast is aimed at supporting divorced Christian women over 40 to navigate their paths with faith in God, grace, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
