Five No-No’s Direct from the White House: How Not to Communicate

Every now and then I allow myself an angry rant. This podcast episode is about improving One-On-One communication. But I'm going to use a BAD example to tell all of you NOT to ever do this. Great communication requires PRACTICE. It doesn't happen Magically. It's work. Right now there is a crisis going on in Washington D.C. my adopted HomeTown. I watch CNN sometimes and my mouth just drops open. Some of what is being said and done is unbelievable!!! However, we can take some of the negatives and turn them into positives! How? We can watch and NEVER Communicate like the President. This is not about politics; its about communications. Please take it that way. Listen and LEARN. Peace and Love to all of you. The photo I'm using for this podcast is from the 1990s. I was young and filled with fire. Now, I'm older but my fire is still raging. I worked in Washington as a political reporter for 10 years, from 1985 to 1995. I'm sorry I left. I met some great people, one of these is U.S. Representative, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. I have one picture with the two of us, she came to my going away party after I resigned to moved to Sacramento to become a political reporter here. I can't find that picture. I did try. She is a treasure.
