When Moses delivered his people from bondage, Pharoah's stubborn resistance against God led to the destruction of the Egyptian army in the waters of the Red Sea. The Bible declares that Pharoah hardened his heart against the Lord, but the Bible also declares that God hardened Pharoah's heart. Christians are often confused by this seeming contradiction.
