Exodus 6:6-7 Say therefore to the people of Israel, 'I am the Lord ... I will deliver you from slavery ... I will redeem you with an outstretched arm ... I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
As things haven't turned out as expected, Moses is back, confused, lamenting the sour twist of events to God, who responds, not with an explanation, but with a resounding declaration of His LORDship. Will we anchor our lives to unpredictable circumstances or to the unstoppable Sovereign Lord?
