Ekklesia: Called Out by Glenn Berry

When Jesus used the word ekklesia for the church, the impact of it caught the attention of the disciples. They knew by his use of that exact word that he would not build something that would support the existing culture. Instead, He would do something that would go beyond existing norms. And the Church is still called out for that purpose today!
