Mid-Session 23 Jan 19: Local shares continue to ease on global growth concerns

Aussie shares are modestly weaker with the ASX 200 down 5 points to 5854 points as investors remain cautious on global growth and US-China trade relations. Materials and energy stocks are the main weight.
