EU taking action to reduce gender pay gap – Fitzgerald

Efforts to reduce the gender pay gap will be discussed in the European Parliament today.

A directive will be issued later in the year making in mandatory for companies to be more transparent.

At the moment, there’s a 16.5 per cent gender pay gap across Europe and a 34 per cent pension gap.
