11 For the LORD God (The Word) is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good (thing) will HE withhold from them that walk uprightly.

 

12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in THEE.

 

(When the translators add a word in KJV, they put that added word in italics.  Verse 11, they added the word "thing".  It should read "no good will HE withhold".)

The Lord, the Word, is a sun and a shield.

 

The Word shows me the way to go on this earth.

 

The Word shields me from people and from things that would harm me and prohibit me from serving GOD and from going in HIS plan for me.

 

Pray.  Wait on HIS Word.  Go in HIS Word.  Rejoice in HIS Word.
