Today is the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua, Fr. Sam connects the story of St. Anthony with Christ’s call for our righteousness to surpass that which the law requires. Jesus tells us if we arguing to truly live the Christian faith we must go beyond the law. We go beyond the call of the law out of love and deep conviction of heart. Let us pray for the grace to go beyond the law into perfect charity!
