The Parable of the Prodigal Son (or the Forgiving Father) in Luke 15 is one of the most famous parables in scripture. The audacity of the story on every level is what still makes it one of the most impactful stories in all of the Bible.
The plan is to look at it from four perspectives. The younger son who leaves, the father who is waiting, the older brother who stayed home, and the communities with whom they interacted along the way.
