Resource stocks bounce back

The Australian sharemarket is off to a mixed start on Monday, with gains from our mining and energy stocks largely being offset by declines elsewhere. While Fortescue Metals (FMG) is down by ~5% as it trades ex-dividend, gains from its peers are limiting its impact on the ASX 200. The Reserve Bank is widely expected to raise rates for a fifth straight month on Tuesday.
