The Chronologist Initiates make their way back to the Chronologist Union HQ, debriefing Broadbarrow on the book-turned-life-sucking-energy-construct. They decide to confront the Amberdune Books peddlers, heading to the Highbrand neighborhood. After a mostly friendly chat with one of the book salespeople, the gang goes back to the HQ to rest for the day but runs into a small problem. . .
