Oil Search Half Year Result 23 Aug 16: OSH profits slump as energy prices take a hit

Oil Search (OSH) posted an 89% slide in its half year net profit to $25.6m, which was slightly ahead of most market estimates. A lift in production and sales, along with lower costs, have been insufficient to offset the impact of slumping energy prices.
