Jordan Peterson’s Discovers God #1, Natural Law and the Search a New, not Novel Order

Tom Holland had a tweet advertising the upcoming World Cup of Ancient gods on his "The Rest is History" podcast. I'm excited. But it will prompt in crunchy believers a pause. What are we to do with these "gods"? Are they today's Super Heroes? What were they? 

This opens the door to the much asked for clarification of God #1 and God #2. I'm regularly asked for a fuller explanation of these two terms. Am I a polytheist? Do they map onto the Christian Trinity? 

They have always been bins on my theological work bench to try to make sense of what has happened in the West, and to try to figure out why  @Jordan B Peterson  has been a more effective evangelist than many Christians including myself. Jordan Peterson's God (God #1) triggers a lot of "Natural Law" enthusiasts in the American religions and non-church-going conservative ecosystem which prompted Bionic Mosquito to drop me a note. Bionic Mosquito wrote me a helpful email asking about my hesitant engagement with "Natural Law".
