5 Elements of Intimacy – Trust

When you picture someone you trust, who do you think about? Do you think about a close friend? A relative? Parent? Sibling? Do you make yourself just as easy to trust? When you look at the person you are today, do you trust you? Or would you be the last person you’d ever trust with your own life? Choosing to trust yourself can make your life more easeful. When you choose to trust your awareness, your knowing, and your body, life can then become more enjoyable and fun! Plus, you are able to be an example of trust to everyone around you. If you trust your body on what it says it would like to eat or drink, do you gain more energy and are you more ready to face the world? When you choose to trust yourself, you can truly be a greater contribution to the world, those around you, and most importantly, yourself. ? When you are walking down the busy streets of a city and there is a dark alleyway and your awareness says to not go down it, do you trust it and not go down it? What about if your awareness says to take the long way to an event, do you trust yourself to take that route? When you trust yourself, ease, joy and glory follow closely behind. How much fun can you have really trusting you? Would it create greater to trust yourself even just a little bit more than you do already?
