In Ephesians 5:19-20 we are taught to speak to one another with thanksgiving. We can do this psalms, hymn and spiritual songs. Worship in song brings harmony, unity and gratitude with other believers. Continuing the ideal of gratitude, Luke 17:11-18 reminds us to beware of ingratitude which consumes 90% of people. Instead, be like the leper who went back to Jesus in thanks (the 10% club). We can do this by hailing the Giver (Psalm 9:1), foregoing entitlement (1 Thessalonians 5:18), taking time to be thankful, smelling the roses (Colossians 3:17), valuing the process (Philippians 4:6) and doing so joyfully (Psalm 28:7)
