What if a nefarious tech company were ran by a charismatic and better looking version of Mark Zuckerberg (Tom Hanks). Terrifying, we know. But do you know what’s scarier than THAT? A cult that...actually makes a lot of good points. 
In this episode we recap The Circle, a 2017 thriller (we object to that classification, but okay), staring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. How does an overly ambitious tech company get away with a sweeping ploy to surveil and monitor and influence the masses without consequences? Well, they offer free health care and endless food trucks, of course. Millennials come lining up, volunteering as tribute. The Circle may appear to be your regular smegular social media platform, but are they actually just a cult with really great benefits?
