Episode # 938 - Religious Freedom And The 4th Of July

Father Koys joins us today as usual and has much to talk about today, so much he feels that sometimes he can't get it all in, but tries.  For one thing, brings up many things going on, including the Fortnight For Freedom that continues til Friday the 4th of July and dealing with Religious Freedom.  Other things that Father Koys hopes to shed light on today is also some issues regarding insurance for everyone.  Also on a good note, it's Christina's birthday today too, with everyone wishing her a happy birthday.  Father Koys talks about his feelings of "mistrust" here with things going on in our nation and how God is effected by this, raising also a discussion about war and how our soldiers are affected by it, either traumatically or other ways since the 4th of July is coming up Friday.  After the first break, Father Koys continues, the discussion turns toward what everyone will be doing on the 4th not only for historical references being The United States Day of Independence, but also the idea of Religious Freedom.  To help illustrate and reference this holiday, several historical figures from Father Koys and current things going on today is brought up during the discussion, including several key people who helped in the development of our Nations Freedom, such as Thomas Jefferson and Ulysses S. Grant.  Father Koys expresses the need for prayer when dealing with this for all of us.
