One year after the UN adopted the momentous Development Agenda, Ambassador Kamau spoke on the historic process leading to the adoption of the goals and the threats facing the achievement of the goals. Ambassador Macharia Kamau of Kenya was one of the primary architects of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), co-facilitator of the 2030 Development Agenda, and was appointed by the UN Secretary General as Special Envoy on El Niño and Climate.
