Mid-Session 17 July 19: Local shares recover from early weakness to be higher at lunchtime

Early losses for the ASX 200 on Wednesday have been replaced by solid gains at lunchtime. Energy names are the only decliners in sector terms after oil prices fell 3% overnight.
