The Colonel talks about his progression through the Sheriff's Office from a Kentucky farm boy (Hillbilly) to Colonel and 2nd in Command in this large Southwest Florida agency. Colonel Bloom has worked in several different capacities at the Sheriff's Office, corrections, narcotics office, patrol, SWAT leader, boot camp Commander,  Captain and Chief of Operations.
