Episode # 1356 - Eve Of Lent 2016

It's Tuesday and things are still going good during this week, maybe due to the fact that it's the eve of Lent and/or with Mardi Gra going on too.  With Lent starting tomorrow, everyone is excited this year for Lent, with what everyone decides to "give up" during Lent.  Before that discussion on Lent, the discussion picks up where it left off yesterday and what Christina says about having an encounter with Christ, sharing the feelings we have when something like this happens or when an encounter with Christ happens.  With Lent going on, Father Anthony shares some memories of previous Lents as well as other memories regarding similar areas, particularly in feeling good, as one does or might feel after "giving up" something for Lent.  Father Anthony also shares some memories from visiting Africa, describing the people and the experience of being in another culture and in a way, another "world" in terms of the culture and people.  This leads to Father Anthony talking about Simon and Peter, with the idea of getting/giving Peace to us by the Lord, which expresses that everyone has a need for Christ, but the question is that does everyone want Him to help or the choice of wanting Christ.  With this, many questions are raised with the idea of wanting Christ and many we ask ourselves, with everyone on the show sharing their opinions on this particular topic.
