Increasing loneliness is regarded as one of the most concerning developments in our society. More community and less individualism seems to be the required antidote.
But isn't there also much to learn about how to be alone in a healthy and wholesome way? Aided by some biblical examples and some wisdom from thinkers through the ages we ask the question: what is the art of solitude?
