In the middle of the California COVID lockdowns Curtis and Deann Lewis’s 5-year-old daughter, Natalie, needed heart surgery. During surgery the doctor punctured her heart and after fifteen minutes of CPR, she was left with a global brain injury from which doctors said she’d never recover. Curtis and Deann ended up spending over 100 days in the hospital with their daughter as she fought for her life. Through that time, members of their church rallied around them began a facebook group called "Pray for Natalie," which had people from all over the world praying for her and their family.
