Amanda Hamilton began working for the BBC, raising funds for drama productions, where she found her talent and passion for negotiating and cutting deals. Quitting her corporate job to start a business selling high-end teas from a Tuk-Tuk van at a railway station in South East London, she soon started experimenting in her kitchen with a blend of spices, after first trying Chai whilst backpacking across India.  Customers loved her recipe and she soon started selling to local coffee shop baristas, before moving onto supplying major supermarkets and high street coffee chains.
