George is a military veteran and served in the Air Force.  He was assigned to Korea where he worked in communication. 

He now works for the Detroit VA and does volunteer work with veterans consisting of mentoring at a shelter for military veterans. 

He is also a certified peer support specialist helping veterans. 

Lastly, he produces a talent showcases for military veterans which gives veterans an opportunity to showcase their talents.
