The United Nations says “famine is imminent” in Northern Gaza and that any further escalation could push around half of Gaza’s total population to the brink of starvation. Israeli forces meanwhile conduced a raid on the Gaza Strip’s largest hospital, saying Hamas militants had regrouped there. It comes as President Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the first time in a little over a month.
