Interview Deirdre Clune on EU Solidarity Corps scheme

Journalist Eamonn Torsney talks to the Fine Gael MEP Deidre Clune about her calls to young people between 18 and 30 to sign up and volunteer with the EU Solidarity Corps scheme.

The European Solidarity Corps scheme enables young people to respond to important societal needs by taking part in voluntary activities across the European Union.

Under the scheme young people can participate in a wide range of solidarity-related activities such as education, health, protecting the environment and integration of migrants and asylum seekers.
