Former Mayor Bill Purcell - 10-30-19

This show aired live on Wednesday, October 30,2019 at 4:00 pm (cdt).  My News From the Community Segment featured an official with the FCC to discuss the recent informational alert to tv viewers that the need now exists for non-cable viewers to a re-scan of channels so they an continue to receive local channels.  

My guest was former Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell he was one of Nashville's most popular mayors (in my opinion).  He served as the fifth mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, elected first in 1999 and reelected to a second term in 2003 with a record setting 84.8 percent of the vote. During those years as the head of the city he was a regular guest on my show.  It was really good to see him
