Gail Fisher

Fish climbed her way to success when she starred as Peggy Fair on the show Mannix in the 1970s. She won two Golden Globes and an Emmy, making her the first Black actress to win either award. But her greatest achievement was becoming the first Black actress to appear in a television commercial with a speaking role.
