Anxiety can be very complex. But in part, one could describe our anxiety as a fear of our imaginations. Or, us being afraid of what might happen, or what could be. Challenging what our imagination tells us can be done by bringing our mind into a present state. The practice of harnessing our imagination, not forecasting all the possible negative outcomes can free us from a lot of anxiety.
