Pruning: To reduce something by removing things that are not necessary

Our spirits are like plants that flourish when taken care of. When they grow too much (or get overgrown) in certain areas like cares that are not beneficial, or negative emotions. Those things need to be cut back or cut off to make your “plant” healthier so it can produce fruit.

Know that when you practice the fruits of the Spirit that you will increase in those same areas, bringing positive results in what you are focusing on.
