Parshat Va'Etchannan Shabbat Nachamu - Comfort my people  -  English only.  Today's Torah portion begins with Moses pleading for permission to enter the promised land. God did not grant Moses' request.  How can we call this the Shabbat of Comfort when Moses, a man of humility, a faithful servant, was not given comfort?  August 13, 2022.
