Mid-Session 28 Dec 17: Aussie market flat on light volume

The local sharemarket is treading water this holiday-shortened week with plenty of stocks trading ex-distribution holding equities back. Property stocks, Transurban, Sydney Airport and APA Group are all trading ex-dividend/ex-distribution and are falling as investors are no longer eligible for their next payments.
