Former NBA Star Rik Smits On His Passion for Motorcycles

Welcome back to Winner’s Take Y’all, where this week’s guest is the definition of supersized cool. Rik Smits—aka The Dunking Dutchman—stood 7'4" tall and anchored the Indiana Pacers in the ‘90s like a skyscraper in sneakers.

 

But here’s the curveball: Rick isn’t here to talk hoops. He’s obsessed with dirt bikes. The guy has more bikes than most of us have socks. We tracked him down at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days in Ohio, and let me tell you—he barely fit through the door of our RV.
