Episode # 1168 - 1860’s Civil War

Father Koys is here once again joined by Tony and history is on the brain today for Father Koys with much going on.  Once again, Father Koys shares some history regarding the Civil War, but this time, around the 1860's of that time.  With this time period in mind, Father Koys also asks that everyone not only look into and research the Civil War, but also the other wars from history from various time periods, past and present.  The Civil War is on Father Koys mind, due to he and others doing a reenactment coming up in June (as advertised on the show).  He also uses this time in American History to talk about slavery, not just however in the Civil War time.  He also brings to mind what he has been doing with this time period in mind, and that is how Catholics and Catholicism fits in with this, as well as sharing many things on his mind related to the Civil War.  Father Koys also brings to mind how with slavery and other problems that concerned many in the Civil War Era, we need to learn from these mistakes and problems in the past to help us in the present to lead toward a great future.
