Today is Wednesday February 15th. 

Talked about my Valentine's Day with Ahron.  Then moved on to the word of the day "friend."

the definition of a friend for most of us i soneone who we feel connected to and who is there for us in some way.  A friend is often someone that you share a bond with.  You may share some commone beliefs and values with friends, and often, a friend is someone you trust and enjoy being around.  Good friendships and good friends can often stand the test of time.  These relationships are often made from mutual respect and care for each other's well-being.

Signs of a good friend:

A friend is there for you 

A friend LISTENS to you

You feel good when you're around them

They are empathetic towards you

They are able to apologize and forgive

There is a BIG difference between a friend and an acquaintance! Pick wisely!!

I played a phonanigans for Valentine's day from local radio station, it is hilarious.

- Someone stole the catalytic converter from the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile outside a motel in Vegas.

- Let begins next Wednesday the 22nd.  Lent, the period of prayer and fasting in preparation for Easter, is 40 days long, but there are 46 days between Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent in the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar, and Easter (The Sunday's do not count.)

- Shrove Tuesday (or pancake day) is February 21st, Ash Wednesday the 22nd.

- Popeyes is Kicking off Lent with The Shrimp Tackle Box & Flounder Sandwich in an effort to cater to customers observing Lent.

- Pistachio is predicted to be the hottest 2023 food trend! - this explains the increase in pistachio-laden foods and drinks that's on the way and already here, such as Starbuck's new pistachio cream cold brew.  My favorite drink of the moment!  The freakin' cream is AMAZING!

- Then went over 16 Old Fashioned food terms you only hear in the midwest.
